American Legion Auxiliary Unit 125 - Officers
Susan McQuillan has been an American Legion Auxiliary member since 2015, transferring to Unit 125 in 2021 and deciding exactly where and how to help after feeling so at home at this Post.
With a passion for photography, Susan began taking pictures earnestly at just 10 years old. Her experience came in handy when photographing Post events and was a natural segue to becoming the Unit 125 Historian. Susan is also no stranger to Communications, providing daily social media updates for the official American Legion Auxiliary Unit 125 Facebook page and contributing design ideas, user stories, and development feedback as the primary Business Owner for Auxiliary content within this website. Her contributions paid off exponentially when Unit 125 won the 2026 District Public Relations Award!
In her spare time, Susan has led or assisted multiple improvement projects in and around the Post, including facility floral arrangements, Post 125 seasonal and holiday decoration, and the Support Our Troops coupon clipping project (adding 6 months post-expiration validity for military family on-base use). After the passing of beloved former Unit President, Tami Flanigan, Susan now carries the torch defraying local Ronald McDonald House expenses through their Aluminum Can Pull Tab Collection Program.
Susan loves Post 125 and is always ready to help wherever and whenever needed. She urges all Auxiliary members to attend monthly meetings and get involved where possible, constantly citing the fun and love members have for helping our veterans and families. Come join in that!
