April Zolnierek joined the American Legion Auxiliary in 2022 to meet new people. Since then, she's met so many great people and made some awesome friends. April began serving on the Executive Board during her second year in the Unit and has been serving as the Unit Secretary for the past three years. Since taking office, April has volunteered to support the Steak-Ums, Show Me the Money, Trunk-or-Treat, Halloween Parties, and Children's Christmas Parties programs, in addition to fundraising activities including Hippie Fest, Denim and Diamonds, Bake Sales, and Tennis Shoe Recycling. For the past two years, April has managed the quarterly Cash Calendar event, raising over $4000/year for the Auxiliary. She hopes to continue serving for years to come and is happy to call Post 125 her second home!
